I have taken 35mg of methadone today, and i have a urine drung test coming up, how long will it take to get out of my urine?

They have todo a certain test for methadone. I been on methadone for many many years

Methadone is a drug that can literally sink into your bones. Methadone can stay in your system for easily 60 days after taking it for a long period of time..

alls i can say is .i went away and ended up running out of my methadone and having to kick it cold turkey.to all whoever wants to detox off of it.take your time.the withdrawal is the worst .that is the only way to get off of it and be ok .i got back two wks later and was still going through withdrawal.

if you used right befor you where drug tested it came back clean because the urine in your body was still clean you would have to pee a few times after usein be 4 it would show up

i took about 20 5 mgs of methadone and i haveto go to the doctor on the 19th i took it about 2 days ago...i need to find out how long it stays in your system

I took 40 mg. on aug. 20 and i just had a pee test today and it is still in my system.Aug. 20 was the only day i took methadone because i am on differant pain meds, i ran out and took the methadone. It takes a long time. My doc has been pee testing me for the last week and he said it is going down slightly, but not that much. when i get tested monday, if its still in my system i may no longer have a pain clinic to go to. be honest with your doctor, iwas and if your honest it will be better than lying, i have been given another chance for telling the truth. good luck.

Sorry, My post # 41 was meant as a response to #24 Kim's post. I just wanted to give her my story.
Also, when my wife told me what the Anesthesiologist told her, I completely lost it, thats why I took such drastic measures.

Have you taken anything else? I heard a long time ago and don't know if it's true but there's certain things that you drink (not alcohol) like right before a rest that can cause you to fail and show you been taking drugs that you're not using, I can't remember what exactly but it was some kinda high caffeine drink that I don't think they make anymore, I wish I could be more help, only other thing I can think of is if you took something else similar or took something you thought was something else, maybe someone gave you and lied or didn't know what it was for sure.

I have that same problem it has been a month and my suboxone doc wants to kick me out now, but i have not used methadone at all since I started.

my boyfriend has been on methadone for a yr and a half. at 80 mg. stopped taking it 8 days ago. will it show up on urine test on day 9?

I have been on methadone for 10 years off and on. It has always taken 36 hours to get methadone out of your system. Alot of of the drug test still do not test for methadone. I have took alot of drug test for jobs,house arrest, and methadone clinic and the clinic is the only place that it shows up.

Some people (dealers) mix there dope with methadone which would cause u to show up POS...
