I took 6 mg of klonopin on friday, how long before it's out of my system. I weigh 230lbs.

I'm don't know we're ur getting ur research but klonopin does not stay in your system for 6 weeks! The only way that's possible is if u are a long term user and has been on them for a couple of years regular. I know from experience that klonopin will for sure be out of ur system in 3 - 7 days with small dosages! So for all u guys concern! This is what to do drink plenty of water till the day u test! The day u test do not give the first pee! Use the bath room that morning and take a half cup of vinegar drink it and/or pickle juice both if It doesn't make u sick after that drink two bottle waters and try pee at least on more time! I passed my test in two days after the klonopin! I have been taking regular drug screens for over two years for probation social services and my dr. So if u are having to take a test just use my advice and you will be fine! Unless its the next day now I've never pulled that off! Good luck!

I took 1 mg of clonazepam sept 4 and took 3mg sept 5 and have to take a lab drug test sept 9, will it show up?

210lbs 5'6" . . . Took 1mg klonopin and 1mg alorzapam about a week ago. Have to take pee test within 48 hrs. Will Ipass? (Haven't taken any since and wasn't taking any before)

Your daughter is prob. taking more than you know. Also, if she fell asleep that hard in class and was taken immediately for drug screening, she must have been in a coma. What's her number? My kind of date. Lol

I have a drug test Friday 4pm. I took my last dose Sunday night should I pass my test? I'm not a regular use and have a very good metabolism.

Apparently it does. I just had this conversation the other day with a friend. Her husband smokes cannabis daily and is a heavy equipment operator. He smokes at night after work due to excruciating knee n back pain. Hes 53. He's not high at work, but in his system. I asked how he got around random drug testing. She said he keeps a "balloon I guess you can call it" of synthetic urine that he buys from some store. I didn't know there was such a thing. Anyway, he's been called a dozen times for RT (random testing) and they don't watch him give a sample. Apparently, you pull a tab and it warms up to body temp 98.6.
It's worked EVERYTIME, never had a problem. He said they're about 30.00. Where he gets them, I don't know, but it's at an actual store. Not online, but I'm sure u can get it online also. I have no need for it, so I didn't put the name of it in my memory bank, other than its synthetic urine.

Wow, I can't believe he did it twice!Guess It shows how desperate some people can be. I agree though, the only way to be safe is to only take what your prescribed.

To the person who took 2 mg of kpin, and the half life was verified for me by the makers of the drug, it has a half life of 30-40 hours. However, it's mechanizing rate is much much shorter. So let's suppose it's half life is 35 hours, or one day and 11 hours. After 35 hours 2 will turn into 1 mg; another 35 hours it will turn into .5 mg; another 35 hours it will turn into .25 mg, 35 hours more it will be .125 mg in your system, 35 hours more it will be .625 mg; another 35 hours it will be .3125 mg; more 35 hours, it will be .15 mg; more 35 hours, it is .078 mg. At this point it will be undetectable, maybe even so at a higher dose. Since you are a one time user, perhaps will be fine sooner rather than later.

I had the same problem with marijuana many years ago. It stays in your fatty tissues for at least a month. When I got a new job and I was very surprised that I had to take a drug test (they were new back in those days), I lied and told them my mother died and I had to postpone my new job. Then I spent every day in a sauna to help get rid of it. Thankfully, I passed, tho a sauna will do no good for benzos. Shame on me!!!!!!

Thank you for your info. Luckily I ran into my Dr at Safeway and explained the whole thing. She said she wasn't sure if the company would even pay out for the screening of the levels, they would probably just check what was in my system. Cross my fingers. But we will go from when we get the test results.

I bet your doctor is right. At least you came clean with her. I think they mostly check for opiates, pot and meth. Nobody seems to know about benzos except us, so why should your job know about them? But they might check for barbiturates, tho. xxxxxx

They check for Benzos, methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, lsd, pcp, mdma (molly). But from friday to monday is not enough time to go by for most drugs. Oxy, perc, vic, as an example are 3 days. All others a lot longer. With 1 time use of mj, it will be out within 2-3 weeks. Prolonged use, is where its in fatty tissue n blood. Can take months. However, its in your hair the longest, as well as coke an harder drugs. They can see by the length of ones hair. The most recent being at the roots, and years, by the hair ends. Hope this helped. Thank you everyone. So I got a voicemail last night saying that my job got the test results back........and "they would like me back to work." So I go back on my next scheduled day, but of course I'm still thinking whether or not they are just bringing me in to tell me the results. I can't just be positive, however I'm pretty sure when I got hired I gave a list of medications that I was taking and that got sent to our home office.

The way it works is that I take the test, the results go to our home office, then the store contacts me. So maybe I'm good, and my Dr was right about them checking for levels, or maybe there is more to this.....

I guess I'll find out Monday. Thank you again for all your replies.

Hi:

Yes, you can take kpin four times a day. I did so and it worked out fine for my acute anxiety and insomnia. But in hindsight, it was a very bad idea as kpin can give you quick tolerance and you have to constantly up your dose. 4 mg is a high dose. I started out on 2 mg and ended up on 10 mg in the end. Now I'm in the slow process of tapering off it using The Manual, so I did a partial C/O to Valium. Kpin in the worst benzo out there because it binds very tightly to your neurotransmitters so it takes you a very long time to heal. There are other non addictive drug out there that can help with your anxiety. You are not supposed to take a benzo for any longer than 3-4 weeks. Getting off kpin is worse than getting off heroin. It is that painful for many, tho some are lucky and can get off it will little or no trouble.

Everybody seems to say klonopin has a different half life. The general range, what was told to me by the manufacture, is about 20-50 hours, depending on how fast your metabolism rate is. So let's go to the halfway point and say it is 35 hours. Remember, the older you are, generally the slower your metabolism rate is. Unless you do some heavy duty exercise. If you took just a single dose of 1 mg, and the half life is 35 hours, then only .5 mg would be in your system in about a day and a half. And in another one and a half day, and the dose in your body would be .25 mg and so on. So Xmas is 18 days away. I'm fairly certain in would be out of your system by Christmas.

I realize this is most likely a little late, if it is I do apologize. I would like to start by saying *Liz hits it right on the nose by posting 20-50 hours 35 on average. I've always said 1-3 days (4-5 to be safe) However as with almost everything in life there are always exceptions. So allow me to elaborate a little on *Jonna's post about how Klonopin (as well as most other drugs regardless whether they're prescription medication or not) being unpredictable. This is due to so many factors and variables I couldn't nor would I want to name them all I will point out a few of the more common and obvious ones these can range anywhere from someone's BMI ( body mass index), Metabolism, Diet & Exercise Obviously what substance ie. Klonopin what strength ie.2mg (aka.bars) and how many were consumed (1 or 2 pills) even the manufacturer the manufacturing processes & techniques could potentially have an effect on the outcome of any drug analysis. The latter of course would most likely be very tiny or completely insignificant effects. This brings us of course to what method was used to ingest any substance ie. Oral, etc. now this can play a key role in the breakdown of substances, this may possibly be from bypassing certain metabolism processes. I can only speculate on the dynamics of how it works, since I have not yet done the necessary research to give a confident answer, I however have had enough real world experience to say that the method of ingestion does appear to lessen the time needed to get a negative a urine screen as well as getting a substance into ones system who needs a positive screen. I hope at least something in written here was helpful to someone.
