How long do you have to quit taking clonazepam to pass a drug test?

I have been on either xanax or klonopin for about 6 years now. I had terrible withdrawals with xanax and no withdrawals with klonopin after dropping them both cold turkey at different times. I am trying natural stuff and am doing great after 2 months. One good one is A2X and the other, since I am also trying to loose weight, is RealDose Weight Loss Formula No.1 (it helps with anxiety also). I am so much happier! Now I need to get off Pristiq and Abilify. The Abilify has caused my stomach to get huge - I look pregnant! It is depressing in itself. Good luck everyone. I feel your frustration.

What happened? My heart jumps and wakes me up all night long. Is it a reaction to the medicine? Did you try something new? Did it get rid of the jumps? I'm trying to figure out if it's the medicine or anxiety. My dr said it would not be the medicine, but it started when I started taking the medicine. I've never before this had anxiety.

I'M SORRY BRO BUT XANAX IS A POTENT IF NOT THE MOST POTENT BENZO. WHILE CLONAZEPAM IS THE WEAKEST BENZO. XANAX (ALPRAZOLAM) HITS U ALL AT ONCE AND FAST BUT IT DOESN'T LAST AS LONG. KLONOPINS DON'T HIT BAS HARD AS XANAX ITS MORE OR LESS EXTENDED OVER A PERIOD OF TIME. BUT I GUARANTEE U ASK 9 OUT OF 10 PEOPLE WHETHER THEIR MOTIVE IS TO TREAT ANXIETY OR TO CATCH A BUZZ, 9 OUT OF 10 PEOPLE WILL CHOOSE 5 MG OF XANAX A DAY AS OPPOSED TO 6 MGS OF KLONOPINS A DAY. AND AT THE VERY LEAST THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON FOR ANY TYPE OF WITHDRAWAL. I DON'T GET IT

Ya tell yourself that. Eight years now on klonopin, Xanax did nothing for me. Yes they have a longer shelf life and is more of an even keel thing, unlike xanax, klonopin doesn't get you high and it is definitely NOT The weakest benzo! I've been on all then over the years, I would sat African is the weakest and ya people do want xanax cuz it makes then high, I hate them. Klonopin just makes me normal and if someone hasn't been taken them regularly they probably won't have withdrawals but earlier this year my Dr dropped me and tried putting me on Xanax. I went through hell. No one should be stopped cold turkey on ANY benzo but klonopin has the highest addictive rate and eventualities had seizures from it. My world was f***ed for about a month and I thought I WA going to die

Hey Kgirl. My Doc sorta did the same thing to me. I was on clonazepam for almost 2 yrs only 3 mg. A day though. It wasen't working for me even a little. So he stopped the clonazepam and started me on xanax. It is working SO much better! I never went through what you said you are and i don't think it's withdrawl cuz you're still taking a benzo. Xanax is MUCH stronger so maybe you need a lower dose to start and work your way up.thats how my doc did it. I'm diagnosed severe panic disorder. Not regular anxiety attacks. Every second of every day i'm in a state of panic when in reality there's nothing really for me to be panicking about. I can't control it. If i have to leave the house it takes a couple hours for me to prepare cuz i'm freakin out over the thought of goin out.the xanax helps but i'm not at my max dose yet. I have to wait till i'm fully weeded off this other med i'm on cuz the 2 don't mix well together. I hope everything works out for you. And make sure you talk to your Doc. Cuz there's no way that could be withdrawl.

i m going for medical examination for officer in a company. I m taking .25 mg one and half tablet per day of clonazepam from 2 years. In medical exam they will detect that am i taking any drugs for treatment of any chronic disease? I want that I should not be detected in medical examination. what can I do? How many days before medical exam I should leave the tablets.Please guide me

I was on clonazepam for 6 yrs. I was taking 4mg. a day. Then I couldn't get a prescription renewal. I went into the hospital to detox.
I tried detoxing myself and thought I was having a nervous breakdown. The detox doctor put me on various medications, one being
gabbapentin (anti-seizure), celexa (anti-depressant), vitamin b's. etc. It was the easiest withdrawl I've ever been through.

I take 1 mg of klonopin per day for 8 years no more no less I had seizures prior to taking this med I don't now I cant imagine taking more than this is this a lot?

YOU NEVER QUIT CLONOPIN COLD TURKEY, CAN CAUSE HEART PROBLEMS ALONG WITH OUTHERS. THAT DOCTOR IS STUPID, MUST HAVE GOT HIS DR DEGREE OUT THE INERNET SOMEWHERE

I have been on taking it for a while now I don't think it has even been a year. I have ask to come off cause I did not see where it helped I still have a foggy head. It seen likes what ever they put me on the foggy head stays. I am taking a 1/2 of a 0.5mg pill at night and half in the morning. I just stated Prozac. I too would like to know how long it should take for the Colnazepam will leave my body
