Depending on how much you've been taking for the year that you were on Suboxone, a lot of patients seem to suggest waiting at least a few days to a week or so until it is out of your body before you can receive the full effects of something like Vicodin. If you took the Vicodin too soon, it's possible that you may not feel anything from it at all, essentially wasting it.

Suboxone's long half-life of 20-73 hours (according to wiki) means that it will probably be an estimated 3-7 days before you're in the clear... Though the keyword being "estimate".

Have you talked with your doctor about this as well?
