Has this been prescribed for you? If so, how is it working for you? Some people had good results with it for the first week or 2, then it seemed to stop working for them.
There appears to be no set treatment time frame, according to the FDA information, though most evaluation trials were for 12 weeks periods. However, your doctor would be the best judge of how long you can safely take it.
Typical side effects may include nausea, bloating and diarrhea.
It should also be taken on an empty stomach, at least a half hour before eating.
