How Long After Taking A Suboxone Can You Use Morphine 60mg

I took a 8mg Suboxone 48 hours ago. I have a 60mg morphine to take for pain. Will the effects of the morphine work or do I need to wait longer?

Yeah in theory it's supposed to last 72 hours, but that's the bupronorphine. The naloxone only lasts for a couple of hours. The bupe lasts longer to keep your tolerance up and your opiate receptors "busy" so other opiates will (again in theory) not have anything to bind to, making them ineffective. Now, in reality, where I live, I have taken an opiate 24 hours after taking 8mg of suboxone and still felt the euphoric effects. Granted, it was a strong opiate, but I also took four 10mg oxycodone (Percocet) less than 24 hours after taking 6 mg of suboxone (which is 1.5 mg of naloxone) and still felt the effects. So the lower your daily dose of suboxone is, the shorter the time span is of its effect.
