Sertraline actually isn't addictive, but your body does get used to it, after you've been taking it for a long period of time.
Stopping it may cause some withdrawal effects, such as nausea, diarrhea, pain, anxiety and rebound depression.
A slow taper is usually best. Have you consulted your doctor? They should be able to help you set up a tapering schedule.
