Yes, there are a couple of non-statin options, including Fenofibrate and Gemfibrozil.
Unfortunately, they typically cause the same side effects, as reported by the FDA, which may include nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches.
However, it is worth trying one, if you aren't tolerant of statins.
Is there anything else I can help with?
My triglyceride level is 308
HDL is 38
HDL is 73.40
VLDL is 61.61
Which medicine should I take for treatment, which causes little to no side effects?
