Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that is used to treat high blood pressure, some cardiac conditions, and edema, by removing excess fluid from the body.

Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, increased urination, low blood pressure, and dehydration.

Captopril can cause similar side effects, however, I am glad you've not experienced any problems taking it.
