Help Filling 20mg. Oxicodone In Waycross Georgia Fromjacksonville Fla Pain Dr.

I'm in Waycross, Georgia been going to pain management Dr in jacksonville Fla for over a year and I'm now having problems getting my oxicodone 20mg. filled last week rite aide pharmacy filled all my other scripts and said had to order the oxys to check back today now they tell me they can not fill any oxicodone from Fla pain Dr.s I drove all over trying to get them filled and no luck can anyone help me with this problem?

I'm sorry, but most pharmacies aren't going to want to fill it, if it's been prescribed by a doctor in another state. One reason is due to the fact that it makes it very difficult for them to validate the prescription.

And the second reason is due to mandatory stock limits for controlled substances. Each pharmacy can only order in a certain amount each month and once they are out, they cannot restock until the following month. The enforcement of this regulation has caused many to have to limit their customer base for controlled substances to only those who live within a certain radius of their store and whose doctor is located within that radius, as well.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I wish I had better new for you, but I'm afraid I don't. Can you get it filled in GA?

Does anyone else have any other ideas?
