been going to pain managment clinic in tampa florida this entire year the name brand pharmacy;s don't carry the medication so i cant use my insurance. so mom and pop pharmacies carry it but wont take insurance. Heres my problem the first prescription for 240 30mg oxycodone was $260 the next $340 the next $1,500 the next $1,300 the next $1,100 and last month he said it would be $1,300 i told him i could go down the street and get them for $900 then after debating price for 30 minutes he took $890 for 240 oxycodone 30 mg. they also only take CASH. Does this seem legal to anyone?

I would like for my husband to be able too get his oxci,I mean the man was in Vietnam and now has agent orange. Which is death,there is no cure,he has lukemiea.his ins will not pay,so he is in pain every moment.

Pa, West Virginia, new jersey, ohio, Illinois and Iowa from walgreens, cvs and k mart. You have to go far because all the people in jax, fl ruined Georgia, south and north Carolina. It's easy as 123 just walk in and they treat you as if you are a real human. Many of them will call your Dr if it's your first time there but after you get established you will be fine.

I had to go to mail order thru my insurance company to get my Oxycodone 30 mg,and my methadones, the insurance covers it and my co pay is only6.00 maybe you all need to go thru mail order thru your insurance companies! I have a medicare advantage plan,most cover these. Hope this helped,good luck!

I am a disabled vet and have the same problem. Every new Dr you get is like proving your disabled all over again. I just pay for my pain meds out of pocket. Its just less hassle in the end. The VA is just another worthless agency there to take care of itself and not the vets like us who need it.

Good grief - the cost ????? I am married to a man from Crystal Springs, Tampa who chose to come to Australia to live. The cost of prescriptions in Australia is $22.60, however both my husband and I are on age pensions so our cost is $6.10 per script. When we reach a ceiling of $392.00 (for the 2 of us) in one year our scripts are free. I had a AAA rushed into hospital for emergency surgery - THE cost? - NIL. My husband has been in and out of hospital as he had a condition - the cost? - NIL. I truly do not know how you can afford the medical costs in the States. This was a major reason for my husband to move to Australia.

Absolutely! Now let's ask ourselves this, who are the drug dealers in this country? Yep you got it... pharmacists who only take "cash". This means they are getting them under the radar. Pharmacists, when they get an order from legitimate distributors have to account for every pill to the DEA.

What pharmacy are you using? If you don't know the pharmacy name, for instance if you go to the local grocery store, that will work too. What grocery store or other pharmacy do you go to? I have been told that overall Costco was the cheapest and that you don't have to be a member, just tell them you are going to the pharmacy at the door if asked.
I'd love to now if your still getting those prices as the manufacturer has been playing with the prices all over the place, not to mention the pharmacy markups.
Anyone else know about the costco prices or other pharmacies or even just pharmaceutical medication insurance that works well?

Here's what I have found regarding the flat rate (no insurance) in Oregon. For 90 Roxy 15mg I've paid 65.00 at Walgreens with their savings card and a similar price at Safeway and hospital pharmacies. Best price I have found ( which I'm extremely excited about is Costco) you don't need a membership card to enter if you let them know at the door that you are going to the pharmacy. My script is now always 34.00 each month. If Costco isn't where you want to get your script the other economical place is albertsons grocery. When you hand them your script ask them to price match against all the other places you've tried and they will guarantee you the lowest price. Hope this helps

Hey everyone, not new to the site (lurking) but this is my first time posting. I live in Northern Virginia around Fredericksburg. I'm a 30 ye old disabled vet with a multitude of chronic pain problems. Basically the VA healthcare system is s***. I can't work and i only have them as my insurance.
My doc is straight up dumb and not competent to be treating my chronic pain. I have a huge tolerance ans he only prescribes me 45 mg or MSContin twice a day with 5 mg roxies for breakthrough (I can feel everyone shaking their head as I continue). I have to sell all my meds just to get fentanyl tramsdermal since that's all I can find mainly cuz I'm not from here. I'm looking for anyone within driving range of me who has a script for rox 30s or opana 40s. Ill pay for you're whole script as long as I get meds.
I'm kinda desperate as u can tell by me posting on the damn internet but I don't know what else to do. If anyone can help me or at least point me in the right direction id be so grateful. Please shoot me an email xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy}. I would greatly appreciate it. I'm also open the whole mailing method as long as I can start small to ensure uer not a cop or just con.
