Help Cost Of Oxycodone Killing Me (Page 3) (Top voted first)

been going to pain managment clinic in tampa florida this entire year the name brand pharmacy;s don't carry the medication so i cant use my insurance. so mom and pop pharmacies carry it but wont take insurance. Heres my problem the first prescription for 240 30mg oxycodone was $260 the next $340 the next $1,500 the next $1,300 the next $1,100 and last month he said it would be $1,300 i told him i could go down the street and get them for $900 then after debating price for 30 minutes he took $890 for 240 oxycodone 30 mg. they also only take CASH. Does this seem legal to anyone?

go to Walgreens, they have it. Get an Rxrelief card online-its free to help with the cost. I think the website is rxrelief.com

Florida is completely dry. they're around but there like 30 bucks or more =-O

what brands are going around & what area ? I live in Brandon Florida..... I'm just curious lol I have not seen the M boxes for a long time.

Wow, so many ppl on oxycodone and on large doses of it. I was on it for 3 yrs and I will tell you that it is one of the hardest drugs out there to get off of, and when you are out and the drugstores are out and can't get it for you or you cannot afford it..you WILL suffer terribly! I had too many issues with this drug for all those reasons and went off of it. I went through hell on earth and would not EVER recommend this particular drug to anyone..even my WORST enemy. I feel for all of you that will eventually have to go through what I did. I have been free of oxycodone for almost a year now..and say, PRAISE GOD! What a horrible drug to be on when there are other pain meds out there that are not near how horrible this drug is. Just saying from experince..ppl.

You need to come to MI. I get 120 of the 30's and they are IR which the formula was never changed on like the other Purdue ones. I dump a whole script of 120 for 1300 in one shot

So don't go to the mom and pops. Only a true addict would Pay these prices your behavior isn't legit and that is why you are paying the price

While you guys are quoting high prices it's for generics. I get no relief from a generic & prefer the brand. Because there are generics available my insurance will not cover the script. Last month following foot surgery my script was for 40 10/325 & bill was $400 we go to a mom & pop because we like to support sm business & family members take a few drugs where we prefer specific brands not carried by chains. Needless to say this caused a big fight between me & my husband. I need to take more of the non brand to get same level of pain relief. Any suggestions

I go to a small mom and pop pharmacy in St Augustine Florida inside Flagler hospital and there per pill price for oxycodone 30 is $2.25 per pilland I have yet been there in three years and they not have them in stock always always have them

Pharmacies will not tell you when they are expected to get more. I've had many problems with walgreens not having oxys in stock in the St Pete area I just get it filled at St Anthony's not sure how much this is my first month w/o insurance

Have you tried out of state I travel for work and get my scripts filled in many states and they only charge me 50 bucks with insurance.

Dont feel bad I just paid $233 for 90 30 mg oxycodone at rite aid..no other pharmacy near me south philadelphia or in broomal / springfield had it in stock. one walgreens that I got from 2 months ago for $103 is permanently not stocking them. last month diff walgreens paid $128..& now 233$. cause no pharmacies have them in stock...it makes me sick that they can do this..:(
