Having Trouble Finding Pharmacy In My Area

I have recently moved to TN from NH and have gone to the doctor got my prescription but every pharmacy I have gone to or called all say the same thing they don't carry it or they are at there max for the about they are allowed to fill. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions I have even called surrounding states and I can't get to the clinic daily or could afford the gas to go and pay the clinic. Ty

Hello, Kym! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.

You will most likely need to physically go to the pharmacies you called, with your prescription in hand, to get an honest/accurate answer. If you call and ask them about a medication like this, they will just tell you that they don't have it, or give you some other excuse, because it is a controlled substance and they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. It also carries the risk of being habit forming.

Does anyone else have any ideas that may help?
