There are many tablets on the market that match that description.
Just taking a wild guess based on that and the fact that you think it started with an A, I'm going to ask if Alprazolam sounds familiar?
It is a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders, the brand name for it is Xanax.
