Green Oval Shaped Pill With Ahi 2

I found a small football shaped light green pill with AHI 2 on one side and nothing on other. My son had a few of these hid beside his bed and a friend of mine swears they are Xanax she says she used to get this same brand. I can't find anywhere that it's a Xanax and my son never has had any issue like that and this room was slept in by his aunt. I don't wanna jump the gun

Pill imprint AHI 2 has been identified as Glimepiride 2 mg.

Glimepiride is used in the treatment of diabetes, type 2 and belongs to the drug class sulfonylureas. Risk cannot be ruled out during pregnancy. Glimepiride 2 mg is not a controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA)

Eddy is correct, it is manufactured by Accord Healthcare, it's typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia.

Thus, it is not something that one would abuse. Sometimes such medications are used to help treat other conditions, such as PCOS/PCOD, or to aid in weight loss, by improving the bodies use of insulin.
