Hey. Have been taking suboxone for six months now @ 16mg aday. Well I have been having a really hard time paying for them and this week CANT pay for them. So a friend gave me a bunch of lortab 5/500mg, that's all I could get.now keep in mind that I had a huge tolorence before I went on the subs...so I'm wondering how many I should take, just to not be sick. Has my tolotence gone down since being on subs? I'm just really unsure how many to take. If anyone knows a better way to makke this wrk your opinion is appreciated, thanks. O and plz don't lecture me on how I shuldnt take the pills, I know this and don't care if its going to make my wd go awayy.

There are really 2 problems that you are going to run into, the first is due to the Naloxone in the Suboxone, it's used to help prevent the abuse of other opiates, while under treatment and its effects remain in the body for awhile, after last taking it, so the Hydrocodone in the Lortab is going to be neutralized for awhile and not have any effect.

The second problem is the Acetaminophen in the Lortab, amounts over 4,000mgs in a day, which would be 8 of these tablets, are toxic and could result in death, so there are only so many of these you can safely take, under any circumstances, regardless of your tolerance.
