Go Off Gabapentin

I've been taking 300mg. gabapentin nightly for about 2 months I no longer want to take it because it does nothing for my back pain. Can I just stop taking it without problems.

It is always best to taper this medication slowly, because stopping it abruptly can cause a risk of seizures.

Other withdrawal effects may include rebound pain, depression, anxiety and diarrhea.

Is there anything else I can help with?
