I have pcos. My Dr. has prescribed me glycomet SR 500 mg. I wanna know what are its side effects and what is its use?

after taken tablet I've had no interest in intercourse/intimacy. i am 36 years now

My HBA LC( GLYCO HB) IS 8.7 % AND MY SERUM INSULIN ( FASTING ) IS 13,89 ulU/ml and my serum insulin ( pp) is 70.66 ulU/ml.
moreover my Sugar Fasting is 162 and cholesterol is 291 mg/dl anf my triglycerides is 513,
After seeing reports my doctor advise me cetapin XR 1 gm (2 TABLET DAILY AFTER BREAK FAST AND DINNER) for sugar and Roseday F for triglycride and chelostrol ( 1 daily after dinner )
please Advise me for this should I take daily or change this medicine . before this treatment I take half tablet of glycomet 500 sr daily after dinner.

please guide me I just start this treatment 1day ago

Dr. I have diabetic for the past two years. I am maintainting 120 & 140 and having getrol forte so far. Now I have TSH 8.27 and prescribed eltroxin 50 mg and Glycomet SR 500 mg. usually if I have Tablets I feel drowsy and tired. I too had blader stone twice and treated by lithotripsy method. Though 01.06.2013 report shows two calculi of 5 mm and 6 mm in the upper middle calyx for which I have been advised to take utiliser 3 bottles. Now I have pain in left side and abdomen. I am confused for which I should under go treatment and is it advisable to take the above medicines

I am male 58 years old have been tested for blood sugar and for the first time reported 151/191 level fasting/PP. My physician advised to take 1 tab of glycomet 500 SR and 1/2 tab of Pioz 15 after dinner daily for 3 months. Any one who is physician of repute pl advise me the suitability of above medicine to me.

I'm prescribed Glycomet 500mg twice a day, but during evening time blood sugar again remains at same position (i.e 220 in the morning) before breakfast it shows around 150-160. Shall i increase my dosage to 3 tablets?

I am 37yrs old and at the age of 23 I was diagnosed with pcod and was taking glycomate 500mg + fertyl 50mg. I had lost my extra weight and now my periods are regular, but I want to know if I can still take glycomate to regularize my insulin levels?

Hi, I am having blood sugar level 151/191 fasting/PP and have been advised to take 1 tab of mecobalmin ER 1500 mcg and 1/2 tab of Pioz 15 after dinner. Pl advise it's suitability to me.

I have hypothyroidism - tsh levels are 2.3 for the passed year. After my pregnancy I have been diagnosed with PCOD and very high DHT levels (360) which is making my hair fall. Will taking glycomet help lower my DHT levels? I am very concerned about my hair fall.
