Glimepiride Metformin Side Effects

For diabetic treatment my dr asked me to take Glimepiride 2mg + Metformin 500mg (1-1), Voglibose 0.3 mg (1-1) & Pioglitazone 30mg + Metformin 500 mg (1-1). When in the monring after breakfast I took Glimepiride 2mg + Metformin 500mg together along with Pioglitazone 30mg + Metformin 500 mg by Noon, I felt heaviness in my head. Is it the side effect of these medicines? Should I continue to to take or leave it? Please advise.

What do you mean by saying heaviness in your head? Could you please post back and be more specific?

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of these medications a possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, stomach pain and hypoglycemia.

I am having schephornia and taking followigmedicines. Since last a few days I have been facing sleepiness problem. No interest in food. Talk less and in gloomy mood.

I took the combination and ended up in the emergency room because I couldn't uninate and they had to insert a catheter. My wife started checking on the combo plus other meds I was already taking (metoprolol for my heart and ranitidine for my gurd and it turns out they are contraindicated with the combo above. The other side effect I had was constipation. My feces got like elk pellets (like large rabbit pellets) and woldn't come out. Miserable time. The Drs. looked skeptical but when I cut back to only metformin all went back to normal. Never again!
