What does the generic one milligram xanax say on it?

I'm sorry, but the generic is manufactured by several different companies, so I can't possibly list the descriptions and markings of all the 1mg tablets for you.

However, if you can post back with the markings on the pill in question, that would enable me to look it up for you. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you!

The FDA classifies this as a benzodiazepine that is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Right, there are different generics of XANAX, however this month (FEBRUARY 2020) I was given a NEW generic that’s a WHITE ROUND PILL w/ the MARKINGS (027 on ONE side & an R on the OTHER side) I RARELY have problems with different generics BUT this one I do. I get the 0.25 mg. & USUALLY it’s the “football” shape & I can’t remember the markings. Pharmacist said THAT company ran out of their quota, which has happened to me in the past with MORPHINE, but never with XANAX.

I REALLY hope my Pharmacist can get the “normal to me” generic next month (MARCH 2020) because these aren’t helping my anxiety as much.

Xanax has been generic for about 25 years now. You have Xanax from Activas, fine brand. I'm surprised your Insurance (if any) would pay for the Brand Name. GoodRx says a bottle of 60 .25 Generic Xanax is $11, the Brand Name is $280, they both work just great.
