Gen Payne Worrying

Hi , I drank gen-payne tablets for period pains and my menstruation immediately got lighter. Is this a possible side-effect?

No, that's not a typical side effect as listed by the FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Sometimes, however, your period can be lighter or heavier than usual, it can even vary according to times of day and usually nothing to worry about.

However, if you're concerned, you should consult your doctor, to be sure.
