What is the folic acid folart 5mg capsule used for? Is it safe to be taken everyday?

Please let me know the name of medicine in Bangladesh tablet form containing vitamin b-12 (cyanocobalamin) 1000 micrograms and folic acid 5 mg. I need it for treating dual deficiency anemia.

if your OB instruct you to take that folic acid whatever brand it is, you should follow her. We all know that OB are the well-handled doctors when it comes in pregnancies. What is for they become an OBgyne if you won't trust them, they know what to do. Just follow them and everything will be alright.

Hi. I just visited my ob this week because I missed my period, then I find out I'm 7 to 8 weeks pregnant.I was instructed to take folic acid / folart 5mg and I just wondered if it's safe for my baby? Also, how long should I need to take this tablet? I hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanx a lot.

1 capsule (5mg) per day is enough if you're planning to have a baby, at least 3 months before conception, take Folart already.

It is advisable to take Folart 5 mg capsule 3 months prior to conception and up to first trimester of pregnancy.

Hello .. i diagnosed PCOS last May 2016 my doctor put me in althea pill for 6 months but then i haven't take since i went for vacation trip out of country with my fiance but we try. Try to concieve for 8months .until we comeback here in phil. I go to my doctor and ask again how to get pregnant ..she put me in metformin 2x a day and 1day for folart. Im taking now for 10days and i feel so weak. Nauseus and diarhea sometime.. but my husband and I have a big hope that we can have baby soon.. crossfingers i gods perfct time. By the way im pcos and im in a good weight no diabetic highblood or something and i have monthly menstration .wish me luck and hope to get pregnant soon
