Flexoral Not Wanted For Bone Disease Pain
UpdatedMy pain dr. keeps giving me Flexoril for breakthrough along with Opana long acting. I never asked for it nor have used it-my pain mostly skeletal broken arms, fused kneecaps, bone disease stuff so why would I want to take muscle relaxer??!! When I put on monthly form that I don't want it-dr. just looks @ desk says nothing prints out scripts & says see you in 28 days.......Why wont he talk to me? I am scared try make him talk or he may kick me out after I spent 9 months finding him.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Chris-FL Multi service Clinic (Pain, Weight-loss, Tetosterone, etc.)

Hello, Chris! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.
Whether or not your doctor prescribes it, nothing obligates you to take it, or to even get the prescription filled.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
As to getting him to talk, perhaps next time you could just tell him that you have a question and see how he reacts?
I guess I will actually try again-since I put lengthy explanation on my monthly form (which I assume it was for his reading before seeing me) I feel it pushy to reiterate how this not helping, that I need more actual pain med for relief of breakthrough pain which is protocol script for pain. Actually since have taken pain meds 15 yrs I quit breakthrough meds since no effect due to not only tolerance but am fast metabolizer. I did emphasize I was a fast metabolizer on first visit-his response was a chuckle then said "DEA doesn't care about that!" Now what does that have to do with my pain & how I am feeling as far as effective relief??! He is like a robot in front of a computer dowling out printer produced scripts. UNREAL.
Chris-Clinic treats all sorts conditions i.e. weightloss, testosterone, pain, auto-accident results.....
