Hi I just moved to the New York area and I am looking for a new pain management doctor I was in an automobile accident 3 1/2 years ago and I have ruptured disc's in my back. I have been on strong pain medications which really helped but my problem is with me moving and all I need to find a new pain management doctor who will accept cash because I have no insurance. I do have all my records and mri so any help given would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Most pain management doctors will not accept an uninsured patient, due to the fact that it makes it far too easy for someone to doctor and pharmacy hop.
On the rare occasions that a doctor does prescribe, most pharmacies won't fill said prescriptions for the same reason.
Have you looked into getting insurance? That would really simplify things.
Can anyone suggest a doctor in that area that might help?
