Find A Compassionate Doctor

At wits end... 15 years with the same doctor who prescribed lorazepam and alprozolam for extreme anxiety and social phobia. Dr is now retired, and thanks to junky dr shoppers, his replacement has " had it" with these degenerates. He tried to switch me to Buspar, an antidepressant that also works for mild cases of anxiety. I followed his directions and tapered off the Ativan and xanax and switched to Buspar. Well, I am back to where I was 15 years ago. Even though I have never abused the benzodiazepines, and never asked for more or asked a pharmacy to refill my prescription early, and the fact that I have 15 years of records in this new dr.'s computer, he will not prescribe medicine that will help me. I refuse to break the law and risk jail or health problems due to sub standard internet pharmacies who sell fake,or non FDA,approved medicine. Please, someone help me find a compassionate dr. who will prescribe the medicine I need every day just to leave my house. Thank you for reading this post

Buspar is not an antidepressant, it is an anxiolytic, which means it specifically treats anxiety. However, it will not work like benzodiazepines do, it can't be taken as needed or expected to work within minutes.

This medication must be taken regularly for about 4 to 6 weeks, before it reaches its full level of efficacy in your body.
