Hello, today is my 1st day taking Belviq - it took me awhile to start taking the medication because I'm afraid to take anything in the 1st place but I have run out of alternatives to get this weight down! I've lost 12 lbs on Hebalife but then plateaud! There are so many negative reviews that make me nervous but I also see positive ones as well. I am not counting calories but reducing my intake once again and I've been drinking ALOT of water and chewing gum in between snacks and meals. My biggest concern right now - today is that I feel like I am high, my mind is all over the place and I started to freak out a little bit - I have anxiety attacks to begin with so I'm afraid that this will alter that and THAT is not good! At one point this morning I also felt like I was going to get a nose bleed. Has any one else had these side effects?? Did I mention that I reread all side effects again before I took it??

This medication can cause dizziness, and lightheadedness as side effects, in some people that take it, as reported by the FDA, along with nausea and anorexia.
However, such side effects are usually transient and should go away in a few weeks, once your body gets used to the medication. If it does not, or if it worsens, you may need to try a different medication.
