Fear Anxiety

After 21 years of driving, I suddenly develop of a fear of driving. I've been to my doctor who indicated that my high stress levels has caused this sudden fear. He has me on 10 mg of urbanol per day but this has not helped. I need to overcome this fear as I travel long distances daily for work.

What type of doctor did you see? It may be better to see a specialist to get more help with this issue.

Many people get over such fears by simply deciding one day that they're silly, but that doesn't always work for everyone.

Driving on this type of medication isn't really a good idea, either. It can cause dizziness and drowsiness, which may make things dangerous.
