Family Doctor To Diagnose And Treat Adult Adhd In Cartersville, Ga

I just moved here and have a doctor who is giving me xanax for anxiety. I believe the anxiety is caused from ADHD my daughter has ADHD and we have a lot of the same symptoms. My doctor won't even evaluate me for it. Need a new doctor

Hi Lulu! Yes, u need a NEW doctor who will diognose u and treat u. My son had ADHD, and , he went through a series of tests. And, was diagnosed with ADHD and put medication. 4 it. It worked wonders.

Hello, Lulu! How are you?

What you need to know is that such a diagnosis and treatment will need to come from a specialist, now. There were new regulations put in place last year that require specialists handle this type of thing.

Thus, rather than a new PCP, you need to ask them to refer you to someone that can evaluate you for it.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
