Why would hydrocodone show up in my urine test if I have not taken any opiates?

I am currently taken 75 mcg fentanyl patch and break through medication norco 5.325 and I'm failing A 5 panel drug screen for opiates and also bensopan How is this possible I don't take zanax, valuims or clonopans.

Yes it will and adderall stays in your system for 30 days. No s*** it comes up as amphetamine. I took a weight loss medication and same category and I had a lot of explaining to do so be very careful. It stays in your system for a very long time.

I was just released from my clinic due to testing positive for Hydrocodone 4 times. I do NOT use Hydrocodone but do take oxy and fioricet for migraines.

Fioricet for migraines which they prescribed. That and soma all all I took in addition to oxycodone/OxyContin

I go to a pain clinic that supplies prescriptions for Morphine Sulfate and Hydromorphone. I got a positive test for Hydocordone. I do to take that drug. What would cause a positive test for Hydrocodone?

I currently take oxycodone and MS Contin and I am and Ambien I've been drug tested the last 2 months and I'm coming back positive for hydrocodone I do not take Hydrocodone can you please help me and tell me why my urine is coming back hydrocodone when I don't take it my stay at the pain management being jeopardized by these false positive readings can you explain why this is happening thank you

Yes my pain doctor said I've tested positive twice showing that I have hydrocodone in my system. The only pain meds I've taken is Percocet 7.5/325 four times a day and Oxycontin 30mg twice daily. The only other things I've taken is an allergy pill or cough medicine. So what would give me a false positive of hydrocodone?

My pain doctor said I've tested positive twice showing that I have hydrocodone in my system. The only pain meds they me were Percocet 7.5/325acetaminophen and Oxycontin 30mg every 12 hours and the Percocet I take it 4 times a day. I have taken some allergy meds and also some cough meds l night..-Quail. I know I'm also on Ambien

Why would I show a positive drug urine test for hydrocodone when I only take oxycodone? I take Ambien for sleep and phenergan for nausea. I also take Coumadin for my artificial heart valve. I may take benadryl for allergies and every now and then night quil. That's all.

Believe It or Not vitamins can change a lot of things most doctors are too stupid to check it out unless they do in office which usually the person doing it don't know what the hell they're doing

i had a urine test come back saying i had hydrocodone in my system and all i take is oxycodone and gabapentin and nothing else how could this of happened

I take oxycodone 15mg (peach tablet imprint 113) and my doctor told me I had hydrocodone in my urine sample from norco. I have never taken a norco in my life. Please tell me how that's possible?

I've had 2 urine drug tests come back from my pain mgt dr showing positive for hydrocodone. Would taking Bentyl with my pain meds (roxicodone and morphine) cause this to occur? I'm really concerned because this is the only medication that's changed in the last couple of months. He keeps asking me if I'm on any kind of cough medicine or if I've been taking Norco which I haven't. If this isn't the culprit then do you know of anything that would cause a false reading for hydrocodone? I'm really worried that I'm going to lose my PM Dr. who I've seen for about 5 years now. Thanks in advance for any insight you may have.

My husband has been on oxycodone for about a year and the doctor says he is coming back positive for hydrocodone, but he does not take it. He is diabetic and has fatty liver. What would cause a false positive for hydrocodone?

I got a letter from pain mang. Stating I had tested positive for hydromorph I am taking morphine sulfate they swore I'd taken something I shouldn't of my pharmacist looked into problem says if your taking anytype morphine your body changed it to hydromorph The pain center put me thru a lot of grief .

My dr gave me a U/A and I failed because it showed hydrocodone. I'm prescribed tramadol & Percocet; those I passed the test for, but the dr is not going to see me anymore because he says I violated the law. I only take my prescription and nothing else. Why would hydrocodone show on my U/A? I'm so scared now that I've lost my dr and prescription. How can I prove to him that I didn't take anything else except my prescription? I've heard of false readings due to the tramadol being coated with synthetic opiates. Can I demand a retest? If it comes out correctly can he keep me as a patient? I'm so scared of the pain and the withdrawals. Please answer. Thank you.

Reading thru this post, there are several people failing for hydrocodone that they didn't take. Obviously, either there is a small amount in the Percocet or the newer tests being used are giving false positives. I had a false positive occur last July. They didn't care that I was telling the truth. They have all become hardened in their opinion and do NOT sincerely care about their patients. Sorry this happened to you.

Humans did not evolve eating grains and animal milks. Both gluten in grains, especially wheat, and Cassein in milk cannot be completely broken down. They are l.therefore partially break down as opioids. I heard a radio discussion on the same subject with a couple experiencing the same test results. Poppyseed bread was being squarely blamed. All Seeds are the basis of life and are extremely. healthy. Broken down into opioids, bread and milk were much more likely to have been causal. It is my opinion that given the very large amounts of grains consumed today, i.e., Burger buns, hotdog bread, pizza, wraps etc., it is little wonder that so many young people transition so readily to opioid drug (both legal and illegal) addictions..... M.
