Unfortunately fake pills are continuously being dispersed all across the country and the scary part is that they're pressed to look identical to their real counterparts; potentially containing anything from poisonous substances and illicit drugs to other harmful inactive ingredients. However if you fill your prescription at a licensed pharmacy you shouldn't have to worry about a thing. Personally, I just don't think risking one's life for such a temporary fix is worth it and I truly hope those who really need this medication consult with their doctor for a safer alternative.

On a separate note, ever since Watson (Actavis) reformulated their yellow 853 pills and changed them to white tablets, there have been numerous complaints in other discussion threads here about their lack of efficacy, frequently being compared to placebo effects. So even if the pills in question are legitimate and if the patient taking them has a moderate to high tolerance, it's likely that they may not notice much, if any pain relief. In my opinion it may be best to switch to a different manufacturer altogether.
