Hi Isabel,
If you recently bought your B12 from 'GNC' without a lot number or expiration date, I would encourage you to go back and check their other bottles to see if they list anything as well. In the event that none of them do, perhaps it would also be a good idea to contact the manufacturer who makes this product directly, by looking up their name online and retrieving the company's contact info that way. If this turns into a dead end, maybe you can get GNC to refund your money for a product that has no expiration details that allow customers to evaluate its long term safety/efficacy. I know stores like Vitamin Shoppe allow customers to make a return/exchange on products that still have at least 50% of the contents remaining. GNC may have similar store policies regarding returns if necessary.
