From that I was able to gather Etizolam (Etirest) is used in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder.

Side effects include:
Blepahrospasms with long term use
Rare:
Erythema annulare centrifugum brain lesions.

i have been suffering from panic attacks for the last 1 year and 6 months....i have been under phychiatric treatment and they prescribed me with macorate CR200,nexitoplus. and etizolam etirest.....now i feel quite better...but sometimes it keeps on coming...but when i take the tablet it goes...what r the side effects of this tablests and i want to stop this.....is there any permenant cure for this panic attack or should i have to continue this tablets for long?.....i feel like i cannot stop this tablets...sometimes my heartbeats go upto 140.....and i feel scared like its going to burst....is this not anything related to heart...and i do smoke also

A person has been advised to take Etirest for 8 weeks. Is it a steroid? Can it be stopped abruptly after 8 weeks or it there is system to stop it? What are the side effects in the course of stopping this mediceine?
