Equivalent Doses Of Nebivolol And Atenolol
Updated1 Reply
Hello, Sharda! How are you?
From what I've been able to find, 2.5mgs of Nebivolol would be equivalent to 25mgs of Atenolol, but pleaser don't make a change, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. Nebivolol is contraindicated with some medical conditions, such as heart failure/heart block.
The FDA classifies these medications as beta blockers and list the most common side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and increased urination.
Is there anything else I can help with?
