There is no difference, they are just different brand names for the same medication, but they both contain the active ingredient Lamotrigine.
This is an anticonvulsant that is also sometimes used with other medications to treat clinical depression. Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and weight gain.
