Effect Of Continuous Usage Of Prednisone

hi, im an asthmatic, and i am taking 20 mg prednisone twice a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, is it ok to continue taking up this medicine even though i dont have an asthma attack?

You should only take it, if your doctor has instructed you to do so, long term use of it, according to the NIH, could result in acne, fluid retention, weight gain, and congestive heart failure.
