This medication is used to help improve blood flow to the baby, so you should take it as directed by your doctor and no, it should not delay your delivery.
The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, skin rash, chest pain and breathing issues.
Is there anything else I can help with?
