Dog Dosage Hydrocodone 5-1.5 Tab

My 30lb terrier mix is in heart failure and has been taking one half a pill once daily for approx 6 months. Last night and today her cough is constant. I cannot get ahold of her Vet. Is it safe to up her Hydrocodone? How much can I give her. (I plan on putting her to sleep on Tuesday at home w/ our Vet.
