Hello, Yvonne! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.
However, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll not likely find one doctor that will treat both. Anyone that requires controlled substances, such as narcotic pain medications, must see a specialist now to have them prescribed. A regular GP cannot prescribe them, neither can a psychiatrist. A general practitioner can no longer prescribe for and treat chronic pain.
It might be easiest to call your doctor's office and ask them for a referral to someone.
Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

I am also tired of all these do-gooders trying to control my pain like they just had a doctor cut their nerve. Yes, some people don't need the drugs and just want to feel high. But some of us out here require the treatment so mind your own business. If you have an addict in your family deal with your family and leave mine alone. Thank you.
