Doc Gave Me Prednisone

I am coughing up lots of phlegm, low fever (99.8) no appitite, lost 8 pounds, chills, fatigue, sleep a lot, dizzy. Doc gave me prednisone. Now short of breath, still not eating, dry cough with congestion deep in lungs.

Prednisone is a steroid class medication that can cause some side effects, such as insomnia, nervousness, nausea, loss of appetite, anxiety and acne.

How long have you been taking it? It usually takes awhile to work.

You may want to consult your doctor, again, you may also need an antibiotic.
