Do You Have To Have A Doctor's Description???

i feel depressed iam an 18 years old female..and i feel depressed from my relationship anyways can i go to the pharmacy and just pick abilify or i have to have a doctor's description?thanks

Abilify contains the active ingredient Aripiprazole, this is a very potent antipsychotic medication used to treat Schizophrenia and severe cases of BiPolar disorder.

So, it is NOT used to treat depressional or situational depression and YES to obtain it legally in the US, you MUST have a doctor's prescription.

It also carries the risk of some serious side effects including: nausea, weakness, shaking and blurred vision.

I suggest that you see your primary care doctor. I always thought I had to see a psychiatrist for my depression, and insurance rarely covers emotional health. Your regular doctor can help you with depression medications. I also suggest a healthy diet, excercise, and prayer. Not just praying to feel better, but trying to get to know God and telling Him your feelings. Sometimes just writing in a journal helps you to sort things out and may help you feel better. Hang in there! The sun IS behind the clouds, sometimes you just have to wait for it!

Is there anyone out there that has been prescribed this medication for "delusional disorder jealous type non bizarre". I was & after about a year of investigating, tracking, taping & recording. He purposely wanted me to get that diagnosis because as it turns out he's not only a sex-addict but also a pedifile. Pedifiles have many many layers of (what I call) personalities. They actually seem to believe there lies, but all that is for another web page. So my question is, if there is anyone that has experenst this, I would like to know because I dont think I'm the only one.
