Dilauded And Post Op Pain Control
UpdatedI'm taking daily doses of dilauded for management of chronic pain. How much dilauded/day makes post operative pain difficult to control?

Hello, Rick! How are you?
What you need to do is let your surgeon know what you're taking and how much, then they can adjust your post-op medication accordingly. They may even opt to avoid the problem by using a higher dose of a different narcotic altogether.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
