My doctor gave me samples of Linzess for constipation I though that 290 mcg would work faster, but didn't have any movement, so I tried the 145 mcg and had great results, I'm. Out of the 145 mcg and was wounding if mcg's are different then mg. Is the larger number 290mcg less in strength then the 145mcg? Will I have to take 2 to get the 145 mcg?

And no, it most likely worked because you had those dosages in your system so close together, so they overlapped and combined to help.
But to put it in milligrams for you, 145mcgs is 0.145mg and 290mcgs would be 0.290mgs.
