Diane 35 Pills Break Through Bleeding For More Than A Week

Hi. I started diane 35 also to help with acne. So i started first day of my period and it usually lasts 4days, then after i started to get break thrpugh bleeding which they said is normal. But i was bleeding for more than a week everyday, from light to slight medium flow. So i stopped and my ob didnt seem to confident about why it was happening to me, i searched onlinr some say the dosage may too low or too high? And that taking 2 pills may solve the break through bleeding. Can someone please tell me why this happens and if im still able to take other bcp brands? Coz i really want to be protectrd and resolve or calm my acne down :(

Breakthrough bleeding like that can occur for the first 3 months, while your body is adjusting to the hormones in an oral contraceptive. And yes, you can still try others, the spotting like that is really harmless and just a nuisance.

Is it normal even if the "breakthrough bleeding" is like my normal period flow? Its started out as spotting, but turned into more of a flow than spotting. My OB said it isnt normal.. Have u experienced the same ? :) thanks so much for your reply!
