i need to control my sugar and triglyceride levels without being overwhelmed by side effects of drugs
My husband is as well a Diabetic. I have not heard of the medication your are taking. He is now insulin dependent. When he found out that he was a diabetic they started him with Metformin, Invokana and Trajenta. He has also on a high blood pressure medication which had nothing to do with the Diabetes. Prior to him taking in food he does his blood to see how low/high he is with sugar. Once that is done the meter tells him how much to inj. with Levimere, then in the evening prior to going to be he takes Apidra along with his evening medication listed above again. If you are experiencing many side effects I would be telling your Physician. Perhaps you need a different prescription. My husband is doing fantastic with his medications and his Insulin inj. I honestly hope this helps you. I wish you well and if you don't have a Blood Sugar Monitor, it is imperative to get one so you know what your sugar levels are. All The Best to You!!
My dr prescribed me ziten m and glycinorm m30 for my blood sugar management.
I'm 65 years old with no diabetic history in my family. Yesterday my blood sugar levels while fasting were at 124 post prandial and my plasma was at 114 as per srl diagnostics.
My history: during 2006 I had an angioplasty done and was prescribed myonit sr 2.6, eritelln 40, ecosprin gold 10, & prolomet r 50. Since 2006 without fail I've done regular yoga, stretching and pranayama. I've also gone in for a regular check up every 4-6 months.
In 2006 my dr said that I was diabetic and that I should take insulin medication for 3 months to reduce my weight from 80kg to 62kg. All my friends noticed the weight loss. Afterwards, my dr who did the angioplasty, suggested I stop the diabetic medicine and for the last 10 years I've had no problems with my blood sugar.
Now, more recently on 1.1.2017 my dr again declared that I was diabetic. Do I have the option to stop diabetes medicine and what regular precautions can I take besides fasting?
