Diabetes Medication Affecting Blood Pressure

I am 47, weigh 70kg, am type 2 diabetic and have been taking Galvus Met 1000mg for my diabetic condition along with Bilocor 5mg & Co Exforge 5mg/160mg/12.5mg for the past 4 years. However, my blood pressure does not want to come down. My average BP is 180/90. What can be the cause? My medication?

It is most likely that it is due to the diabetes, and not the medications. They usually go hand in hand, according to NIH reports.

Do you watch your diet to make sure that you don't take in a lot of sodium and fat?

Ar you on any other medications?

How much exercise do you get?
