Dextroamp Amphet Er 30mg Side Effects

Is it possible that this medication could cause body ache ? If I stay still and then get up I have quite a bit of pain in the areas I was not moving.

Based on my research, dextroamphetamine + amphetamine is known for causing the following adverse effects:
-headache
-chest pain
-stomach pain
-weakness or numbness of an arm or leg

Do any of these symptoms sound like things you may have experienced while taking this medication?

I would still encourage you to contact your doctor none-the-less, if the aches are becoming more frequent, bothersome, or severe.

I think this issue will only be resolved if you go back to the prescribing physician, as soon as it is convenient - better still e-mail her or him today (psychiatrist and ADD keeps coming up on my weegee board). Let her or him know about these problems and ask them as to what you should do about them.

This dose of dexamfetamine, 30mg/day is very much high-end mitigated only a wee bit by you taking a modified dose form. In other words the 30mg Spansules provide more even plasma concentrations and effect than, say, if you were taking six 5mg tablets across a 9 hour wakecycle that at least attempts to avoid insomnia.

If I were involved (Im not) I would advise you to drop down to one capsule-Spansule a day ie 15mg/day tomorrow and see what happens to these symptoms that are indeed side effects of the amphetamines .... as they were 50 years ago, All The Best, Rachel
