Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, used as an analgesic, fever reducer and swelling reliever.

Taking more than the prescribed dosage can cause heightened side effects, including: nausea, drowsiness and stomach bleeding or irritation.

You should stick with the dosage recommended by your doctor.

Regular exceeding of the dosage can cause damage to the liver and kidneys, possible organ failure and could be fatal.
