Deramaxx contains Deracoxib, currently it is approved for use in animals, via veterinary prescription. It is most commonly used to treat pain, and swelling.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, stomach irritation, increased risk of bleeding, and dizziness.
