Both Calcium and D3 are vital to your overall health, but they can also be dangerous if you take too much, so you do have to be careful. There are also certain medical conditions that they may be contraindicated with and certain medications they can affect, so you should always check with your doctor, before taking them.

If you don't need, because you aren't deficient then it may not be the right thing for you to take, because the D3 will basically potentate the calcium, which makes it quite easy for you to develop hypercalcemia.
