Cymbalta And My Belly

I started taking Cymbalta two months ago. While it has been so great for my depression, anxiety, and osteoarthritis and back pain, it makes me so sick to my stomach and I even coughed up three drops of blood last week. I go back to my psychiatrist tomorrow and I can't take it today. I am so tired. I automatically feel so depressed after I did not take it last night. Hopefully, there is something else that can help.

That sounds more like you might have an ulcer, which will likely require some medical treatment. There is also a chance that it's gastritis, which the Cymbalta may be irritating.

Be sure to tell your Psychiatrist about the issue, so they can make sure that this is checked out for you to get to the root of the problem.

Do you take any other medications? Do you drink alcohol? Do you eat a lot of spicy foods?

I just started taking the cymbalta 30mg and last week I was told I have gastricitis so they prescribed me Tecta. The burning is gone thank god but because of all the nausea I had to get a test to see if its ulsars. Juat waiting for the results. But if u still have burning nnausea dont drink ANY pop, coffee will make it worse. Eating anything acidy or greasy will make it worse and sugars. I cant stop my coffee so I take my pill n drink coffee. Id get it checked for ulcers cuz u want to catch it early

Been on 60 mg. of Cymbalta no bad side effects except sleep. My body jerks constantly. Hoping this is temporary.
